XRYTE

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: September 29, 2026

XRYTE BYTE TECHNOLOGIES LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") maintains clear, equitable refund and cancellation standards for all services provided via https://xryte.com.

Because our services involve custom design engineering, dedicated developer allocations, and technical configuration hours, refunds are governed by the specific project phase and conditions outlined below.

1. How to Request Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email directly to billing@xryte.com or support@xryte.com.

Upon submission, our billing department will review project milestones, sprint allocations, and server records, issuing formal written confirmation of your request status within three to five (3–5) business days.

2. Custom Project & Work Order Cancellations

For custom development, website builds, and bespoke software projects:

  • Cancellation Within 24 Hours of Initial Payment:
Guaranteed 90% Refund. If a written cancellation request is received within 24 hours of payment authorization and before project setup has commenced, 90% of the paid balance will be refunded. A 10% administrative deduction covers non-recoverable merchant processing gateway fees and setup administration.
  • Cancellation Within 2 to 3 Business Days:
Guaranteed 50% Refund. Because UI/UX designers, developers, and project managers are formally allocated to the project upon financial confirmation, cancellations submitted within 2 to 3 days of payment qualify for a 50% refund to offset committed labor costs.
  • Cancellation After 3 Business Days:
Strictly No Refund. Work orders canceled after three (3) business days from financial confirmation are non-refundable, as custom development sprints, codebase initialization, and engineering hours have been fully deployed.

3. Recurring Subscriptions & Monthly Retainers

  • Notice Requirement: You may cancel an ongoing monthly subscription, maintenance plan, or retainer at any time by providing written notice at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to your next scheduled billing renewal date.
  • Access Continuity: Cancellation takes effect at the expiration of the current paid billing cycle. You maintain full access to systems, hosting, and technical support through the conclusion of that billing cycle.
  • No Mid-Cycle Prorated Refunds: Recurring subscription fees are non-refundable once the monthly billing cycle has processed. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months or unused retainer hours.

4. Specific Refund Conditions & Exclusions

  • Accidental Duplicate or Overpayment: If a client inadvertently submits an overpayment or double transaction, 100% of the excess funds will be refunded, less direct payment gateway processing deductions.
  • Creative & Design Subjectivity: No Refund. We conduct extensive discovery consultations and provide up to two (2) rounds of major design revisions to ensure satisfaction. Disagreements regarding aesthetic preference or subjective taste do not qualify for a refund once design sprints have commenced.
  • Company-Caused Project Delays: If a formal internal audit confirms that a project delivery timeline was severely delayed exclusively due to Company inaction (unrelated to client review delays or missing client assets), the Company may issue a partial service credit or refund of up to 20% of the total fees paid for that specific phase.
  • Third-Party Technical Glitches, APIs & Hosting: No Refund. The Company is not financially liable for outages, server disruptions, domain transfer freezes, or service suspensions caused by external cloud vendors, domain registrars, or third-party platforms.
  • Third-Party SEO Algorithm Shifts & Ad Budgets: No Refund. The Company cannot control search engine indexing algorithms, external ad network policy enforcements, or advertising budgets paid directly to third parties (such as Google or Meta).

5. Chargeback Prevention & Merchant Dispute Policy

We are committed to resolving client billing concerns transparently and equitably.

  • Direct Resolution Requirement: The Client agrees to contact our billing team at billing@xryte.com to seek an amicable resolution prior to filing a dispute or chargeback with their credit card company or banking institution.
  • Illegitimate Disputes: Initiating a fraudulent or unwarranted bank chargeback in violation of these agreed-upon terms will result in immediate termination of technical support, suspension of web hosting, and potential referral to corporate debt recovery agencies. The Client will be held legally liable for all associated merchant chargeback penalty fees, administrative costs, and legal defense expenses.
